Seminar Description

Entrepreneurship III consists of a seminar and a tutorial. Both parts (seminar & tutorial) deal with the topic of business model development. In practical and theoretical sessions the following topics will be covered: modeling of a business idea, development of hypotheses, designing and execution of suitable tests, analyzing of findings and formulation of recommendations, tracking of the progress and the transformation into a business concept. 



The seminar deals with the theoretical insights into business models. Concepts such as opportunity recognition, entrepreneurial capabilities etc.) will be explained and discussed.  



The tutorial aims at testing, proving and assessing the theoretical concepts of the business model. 


Learning Goals

1. Theoretical explanation of the business model development process. 

2. Application of theoretical insights on practical examples. 

3. Analyzing and evaluating theories.

4. Execution and explanation of a business model development process.  


Module test on the seminar and tutorial in the form of a written thesis and a presentation.
